Puyallup Seeks Public Input on RV Park and Light Rail Regulations

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Pierce County is seeking public comments on two projects affecting Puyallup residents. The first is a Conditional Use Permit for an RV and camping park at Grand Farms, which would add a seasonal attraction called "My Haunted Forest." Comments are due by September 9, 2026.

The second project involves updating Pierce County Code to define "essential light rail transit facilities" as a permitted use in mixed-use districts. This would allow future light rail infrastructure development. Public comments on this proposal are also due by September 9, 2026.

Both projects require public input before final decisions. The RV park would be located on land already used for equestrian activities, and the light rail regulations would apply to areas outside of community plan areas.
