Puyallup RV Park, Light Rail Rules Get SEPA Review

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Pierce County is conducting environmental reviews for two Puyallup-area projects. A Conditional Use Permit application seeks to add an RV and camping park to an existing equestrian property at Grand Farms, along with allowing a seasonal haunted forest attraction. The project, submitted by Annika Grandia-Dodson, requires public comment by September 9.

Pierce County also plans to update its zoning code to define "essential light rail transit facilities" as a permitted use in the Mixed Use District. The proposal, from Pierce County Planning and Public Works, would clarify land use rules for future light rail infrastructure. Public comment is due September 9.

Both projects are in the early review stage. The county will consider public input before making decisions. Residents can submit comments through Pierce County's website before the deadlines.
