Puyallup residents will face a two-month road closure starting June 17 on South Fruitland Avenue between Pioneer Avenue and 7th Avenue SW. The closure is part of a sewer line extension project to improve the city's sewer system reliability and capacity.
The city will close S Fruitland Ave from June 17 to approximately August 17. Drivers should plan ahead for delays and use alternate routes. Local residents and businesses will maintain access during construction, but the city asks for patience during the work.
City staff member Ryan Rutkosky is the contact for questions about the project. His email is [email protected]. The project website is listed in the city's public notice.
