Puyallup Parks & Recreation is offering summer programs for residents, including karate classes for kids and adults, specialty day camps, and sugar cookie decorating. The programs begin in June and run through August, with registration open now. The karate classes are available for preschool and PreK children, as well as older students. Specialty day camps feature art, dance, and parkour activities. Sugar cookie decorating classes will be held on Saturdays once a month with different themes. Parks & Recreation is also hiring instructors to teach these programs. Residents can view the full summer brochure online or visit the Parks & Recreation office. Registration is required for all programs, and some classes may have limited space. The summer programs aim to provide safe, engaging activities for Puyallup families during the summer months.
