Puyallup Highway Work Continues Through August

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

WSDOT announced multiple highway construction projects affecting Puyallup-area roads beginning August 3 and extending through September 4.

Chip seal work on Highway 241 north of Sunnyside will require alternating traffic with flaggers from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through September 4. I-5 between Exit 57 and Exit 63 will have nighttime lane closures from 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. with the northbound on-ramp at Exit 59 closed. SR 116 between Shotwell Road and Chimacum Creek Drive will see single-lane closures through October 31 for a fish passage project.

Residents should expect delays on these routes during work hours. The I-405 northbound and southbound lanes will also close nightly through August 7 for paving work. WSDOT reminds drivers to slow down in work zones for safety.
