Washington State Patrol is seeking witnesses for a drive-by shooting on I-90 that occurred August 18, 2026, between SR 900 and West Lake Sammamish Parkway exit. The victim, a driver of a Ford F-650 towing a box trailer, reported being shot at by a dark grey Infinity G37 while traveling westbound on I-90. The suspect vehicle fled westbound at high speed.

Detectives arrested a suspect for a separate drive-by shooting on SR 900 that happened July 22, 2026, near May Valley Road. The victim was traveling eastbound on SR 900 when a light-colored vehicle followed closely and fired a shot through the rear window. WSP SWAT arrested the suspect on August 7, 2026, after investigating video footage and identifying the suspect vehicle.

Troopers contacted the victim who had got off the freeway and was waiting in a parking lot. The victim explained they first observed a dark grey Infinity G37 at the metered light Front St. to westbound I-90. The victim was in a Ford F-650 towing a box trailer. Both vehicles continued onto westbound I-90 while the passenger in the Infinity displayed a firearm several times before shooting the driver’s side of his vehicle. The shooting occurred westbound I-90 somewhere in between SR 900 and West Lake Sammamish Parkway exit. The Infinity fled continuing westbound I-90 at a high rate. WSP detectives are seeking anyone that was in the area that witnessed or has dash camera footage between 11:00am and 11:15am.
