Pierce Transit will extend its Fan Zone Express service hours to 8:42 p.m. on July 1 to support the Puyallup Tribe of Indians' extended watch party for the Team USA vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina soccer match. The service, which normally runs from 11:30 a.m. to 8:42 p.m., was adjusted to accommodate the longer event hours.
The Puyallup Tribe of Indians is hosting the watch party at the Fan Zone location in Puyallup. Pierce Transit's Fan Zone Express provides free rides to and from the event, with service running from 11:30 a.m. to 8:42 p.m. on July 1. This adjustment ensures fans can easily access the event during extended hours.
Pierce Transit also announced other service updates including a Sunday schedule for buses on July 3 (Independence Day observed), free rides to cooling centers June 22-24 for high temperatures, and a new payment option for Runner rides starting July 1.
